Throwback Thursday

by Texas Homesteader ~

Well, we’ve once again reached the end of another successful week. I don’t know about you, but here in NE Texas my garden chores are in full swing! I’ve transplanted the seedlings from my indoor greenhouse into the raised beds and this year I’m even trying something new in my garden area – deep-mulch gardening.

My hope is that by mulching the entire garden surface several inches deep with winter-grass hay that I won’t be fighting Bermuda grass in my raised beds all year! Yep, gardening is certainly one of my daily chores these days.

Today I’ll celebrate Throwback Thursday by falling back into the archives and bringing back to the surface a post that’s proven very popular in the past. And how timely that it’s all about saving your hard-earned cash when planning and working in your garden. There are easy ways to have a low-cost garden, check it out y’all!

The massive amounts of rain and lack of sun may have done it under Colleen, I may be replanting with seeds as soon as it dries out. ~TxH~
